We are looking for a Document Administrator.

Reporting to the Shared Services Billing Manager, the Document Administrator will be responsible in overseeing the collection and entry of confidential health records within the Billing Department.

Major components of this position include daily reconciliation of the Patient Care Reports (PCR), entry of the Patient Care Reports (PCR), analysis of non-clinical and clinical audits, liaison with parties requesting confidential health information, assist in the development of policies and enforcement of privacy, and other related duties as the supervisor may see fit from time to time.


In this role, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • inputting Patient Care Reports into the database;
  • serving as a backup for reconciliation from Billing to ePCR;
  • serving as the secondary contact for parties wishing to review or obtain information from confidential medical health records;
  • ensuring that the release of confidential health information is in accordance with company policy;
  • backup for Receptionist to cover lunch hours and vacations;
  • other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • possess a post-secondary education from a recognized university, academic institution, or business college or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • have a minimum of two years related experience working in an office environment, preferably with experience in the health care industry;
  • are detail oriented and self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational abilities;
  • are committed to providing stellar levels of customer/patient service and have a passion for business growth;
  • knowledge and/or expertise in data entry and/or medical record administration;
  • familiar with the handling and processing of confidential medical information;
  • capable of doing repetitive tasks for long periods with high accuracy;
  • possess excellent communication skills.
