As a Product Planning Business Analyst at Prophix, you will be at the forefront of our product planning efforts, contributing to the development and execution of our product strategy as we expand and enhance our platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, foster strategic technology partnerships, and have a direct impact on the success of our platform.


What You Will Do

  • Business Case Creation:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Planning and crossfunctional teams to develop comprehensive business cases for new platform expansion initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business case development.
  • Analyze financial data and forecast return on investment for proposed initiatives.
  • Survey Analysis and Communication:
  • Design and analyze surveys to gather user feedback and market insights.
  • Effectively communicate survey findings to internal stakeholders, informing product strategy.
  • Alignment and Organization of Communication and Input Gathering:
  • Facilitate communication and input gathering from various stakeholders, including Customer Advisory Boards, Product Leadership Team, and Prophix Conferences.
  • Organize and synthesize feedback to contribute to Platform Expansion roadmap decisions and product roadmap discussions.
  • Product Technology Partnership Relationship Management:
  • Manage relationships with strategic product technology partners.
  • Ensure partner commitments are met, including attending business meetings and generating necessary reports.
  • Explore opportunities for product integration with partners.
  • Track Revenue and Progress Related to Partnerships:
  • Monitor and report on revenue generated through product technology partnerships.
  • Track progress and key performance indicators related to these partnerships.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement:
  • Partner with Product Operations, Product Management, Development, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other gotomarket teams for crossfunctional participation in operationalization of Product Planning activity and help drive successful outcomes.
  • Support internal communication requirements for the team including meeting coordination and minutes.
  • Leverage project management techniques to keep things on track.
  • Support Product Planning Backlog:
  • Manage timelines and project milestones.
  • Assist Product Planning in establishing and maintaining a backlog of product initiatives.
  • Contribute to the backlog of labs explorations, helping to prioritize and define future product innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or finance
  • At least four (4) years in successful operations and/or project leadership
  • Experience and excellence in data collection and data analytics (using Excel or other data analytics tools)
  • Have relationship building and negotiation experience with external vendors or partners
  • Exceptional problemsolving and analytical capabilities
  • Be an excellent communicator and collaborator who can effectively engage at all levels of the organization as projects and processes progress and evolve.
  • Methodical approach to delivery with attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools and techniques
  • Be selfmotivated and maintain a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have accounting and/or financial planning and reporting experience
  • Experience with building and presenting business cases
  • Experience working in a software company
