We are looking for a Consultant - Data & Cyber Security to join our growing team at Dexcent.

This important position will lead consulting projects on a remote basis, with in person meetings and visits to client sites as needed.

  • Education in Business Analysis, Change Management, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a consulting role with exposure to Industrial IT environments.
  • Knowledgeable of SCADA/control systems, and OT software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Knowledgeable of various cyber security frameworks and assessments (such as NIST).
  • Business/service oriented, with the ability to create and maintain productive relationships
  • Capable to influence and engage all levels of stakeholders and support change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel.
  • A high degree of discretion, engagement, initiative, and independence
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, analytic and critical thinking, relationship building, and group facilitation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (such as CISSP) are an asset.

About the Role


The Consultant - Data & Cyber Security leads consulting engagements and assists clients with making decisions on solutions to meet their data capture and management, and cybersecurity needs.


  • Work with senior leadership to develop scope of work and estimate resources, costs, etc. for proposals.
  • Through stakeholder engagement, interviews, and other data sources, gather information about the client's organization and needs.
  • Evaluate client needs, identify technology solution options, and present recommendations, effectively communicating the value proposition to all decision makers and influencers.
  • Prepare documentation of systems, processes, and interdependencies.
  • Complete assessments against frameworks relevant to the scope of work.
  • Develop policies and customize to client needs.
  • Develop and customize governance models.
  • Define KPIs and support set up of tracking tools and methods.
  • Develop new processes, and support change management in the client environment.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, training sessions, etc.
  • Develop and execute project plans, change management plan and process, issue management process, communication plan, quality control, etc.
  • Lead meetings, collaboratively develop project objectives and identify and manage key milestones with the project team.
  • Establish and manage advisory/governance groups as needed to support successful delivery of the projects.
  • Track metrics and regularly produce and share reports on project progress and metrics.

Experience:


  • Management consulting: 5 years (preferred)
- industrial control environment: 5 years (preferred)
