About the opportunity
As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, this position is a combination of sales consultant and financial services manager.
Specifically:
- sell vehicles in an attempt to achieve volume and gross profit targets
- sell warranties, protection contracts, and protection products to achieve penetration percentages and gross profit targets
- promote leasing contracts, and handle lease/finance maturities
- act as the liaison between the company and the customer during the process of buying a new or pre-owned vehicle
- create and perform compelling sales pitches
- actively listen to customers to understand their vehicle needs and wants
- present and describe vehicle specifications, features, benefits; pricing
- perform vehicle road test-drive with customers to demonstrate the vehicle
- complete deals and source lease/financing approval with various lenders
- successfully deliver sold vehicles and register any warranties/protection contracts
- maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction index (CSI)
About you.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a successful sales professional; financial services manager, automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
- proficiency in working with Customer Relationship Management Systems (ie. OneEighty, DealerTrack, Salesforce, TMS, Rapid Response)
- OMVIC license in good standing
- Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- strong ability to communicate confidently and professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
