Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Department - Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Back up for payroll and benefits
  • Recruitment, including applicant screening, interviewing, offers of employment, new hire set ups and orientation
  • Maintaining centralized training database and coordination of scheduled training
  • Acting as liaison for WSIB claims
  • Being a committee member on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
  • Oversight of individual employee returntowork plans for both work related and nonwork related injuries
  • Preparing and posting both internal and external job postings
  • Support of senior team around labour/management requirements
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary School graduate with a minimum of a Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP), or equivalent with relevant work experience
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a Human Resources role
  • Comprehensive and expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Return to work administration and WSIB claims management experience preferred
  • Understanding of privacy legislation, AODA, Employment Standards, Health and Safety legislation and the Ontario Human Rights Code
  • Strong attention to detail is critical
