Purpose:


The Crew Support Coordinator (18 Month Term) will support flight attendants and pilots in the Toronto, ON (YYZ) crew room, providing day of operation information and support.

They will work in partnership with the Inflight Base Manager, Development and Performance Managers, and Flight Operations by filtering requests for assistance and responding to a variety of issues.


Description:


  • First point of contact for all flight attendant and pilot needs, providing information as required including; documents, FliCA information etc.
  • Fosters positive relations with flight attendants and pilots while maintaining and balancing business needs.
  • Problem solves flight attendant schedule concerns and shortterm schedule adjustments due to unplanned occurrences.
  • Navigates Westnet to provide specific direction to flight attendants and pilots including; ESP, communications, operational standards and AQD/IHR.
  • Address uniform issues, including standards and ordering.
  • Directs crew members to supporting departments including Crew Pay, Crew Benefits etc.
  • Initial contact for Inflight benefits (WCB, medical and maternity leaves).
  • Initial processing for WestJet identification and passport changes.
  • Manages RAIC process and liaises with RAIC office.
  • Maintains crew room appearance.
  • Liaises with IT for password resets, remedies tickets, access inquiries, etc.
  • Assists with onboarding of new hire flight attendants.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Inflight leadership team.
  • Reconcile parking invoices.

Qualifications:


  • Fully functional on PC's and office software including; Outlook, MS Office and be able to easily navigate WestJet's internal website.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks that require a high level of accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Exercise a high level of confidentiality when dealing with business and people matters.
  • Efficient time management skills, with the ability to balance and prioritize numerous requirements and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated planning, coordination, and organizational skills achieved through flexibility and effective time management.
  • Safe work history.
