    Job Title: Store Supervisor at Party City

    The Store Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by effectively communicating retail objectives to the team. This position involves supporting the Store Manager in managing and leading the store to deliver top-notch workmanship and service, ultimately guaranteeing customer satisfaction and business growth.

    Responsibilities and Tasks

    • Customer Service
      • Encouraging and maintaining a culture that prioritizes an outstanding customer experience through training and coaching.
      • Setting an example by consistently providing excellent customer service.
      • Holding team members accountable for delivering exceptional service and acknowledging outstanding performance.
      • Recommend value-added products to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
      • Concluding interactions with customers using effective closing statements.
      • Handling customer inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
      • Managing multiple customers effectively.
    • Operations
      • Aiding the Store Manager in maintaining a high-quality store presentation through daily inspections and meeting performance standards.
      • Supervising daily departmental operations to achieve productivity goals.
      • Following up on work progress and addressing issues promptly while being accessible to team members and customers.
      • Regularly assessing store needs and maintaining proper inventory levels.
      • Active participation in team meetings and contributing ideas for improvement.
      • Supporting cashiers with various tasks.
      • Training new employees and organizing team meetings.
      • Ensuring compliance with company policies and health regulations.
      • Assisting the Store Manager with projects and additional tasks as needed.

    Requirements

    • Experience in retail sales, execution, and operations.
    • Good knowledge of products and functions.
    • Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience.
    • Ability to operate a cash register.
    • Basic math and keyboarding skills.
    • Experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
