Position Overview

First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a
Service Advisor at our Edmonton South branch.

Compensation Plan

Competitive hourly rate (D.O.E).

Primary Job Functions

Greet customers, book appointments, write up work orders, and schedule repairs.
Create estimates for the service department.
Responsible for department invoicing.
Sell repairs and services recommended by the technician.
Follow up with customers and keep them updated.
Explain all work performed and charges.

Qualifications

Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
Confidence using computer systems, writing reports, and using scheduling tools.
Selfstarter and able to work in a fastpaced, detailed, and processdriven environment.
Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset.
Able to climb in and out of Class 8 trucks.
