    The successful candidate

    must demonstrate the following:

    Knowledge in the area of technology and ability to integrate technology into the curriculum Experience programming robots using blocks, C/C++ and Python Knowledge and experience in VEX IQ robot system Knowledge and experience in VEX EDR robot system Experience in coaching and managing a competitive environment involving a variety of team dynamics Possess excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills and proven ability, commitment and drive to work cooperatively and effectively with other educators in a collegial team setting; An ability to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that can accommodate the learning needs of all types of learners; A proven ability to develop a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of strong organization and classroom management skills; Hold a valid teaching certificate and be a member in good standing with the Teachers' Regulation Branch; Why West Vancouver Schools?
