Project Overview

Bechtel Infrastructure is working in a Delivery Partner role within an integrated team with the customer organization for a Subway Project in Toronto, Ontario.

The project scope includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment, being performed by three key PPP Contractors and multiple advanced early works (EAW) packages Contractors.

Bechtel form a key component of the overall Integrated Project Delivery team (comprising the customer, MX; the Technical Advisor, and Bechtel as the Delivery Partner).


Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with all department leads to understand technology requirements.
  • Coordinating with teammates to ensure user accounts are correct.
  • Drafting, issuing, and maintaining user guides for the project tools.
  • Provide status on technology utilization.
  • Providing insights that link tool utilization to performance, as well as coaching for low performing/utilization areas.
  • Working with the Senior Reporting Analyst to deliver data to dashboards.
  • Contributing towards the goal of reducing data reentry, singlepaneofglass concept, paperless execution, efficient automated workflow, easy access to information by close interaction with reporting team.
  • UAT testing of new tools and/or changes to existing tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University accredited degree (preferred degree in computer science, data science, and software) with 4 to 7 years of experience, or 7 to 10 years' experience without a university degree.
  • Experience in major rail projects.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office 36
  • Experience deploying and managing tools in the field on construction sites.
  • Experience with Oracle Unifier and GIS tools is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and servant leadership style.
  • Ability to work autonomously within the Project role and interface with a wide cross section of project personnel.
  • Works in a fastpaced project environment with ability to respond to changing priorities from different levels of the organization.
