Description

Reporting to the Facilities Manager or Facilitates Lead Hand, the primary duties of the Housekeeper/Ladies' Locker Room Attendant is to take initiative and to maintain the Clubhouse and Ladies' Locker Room to Club standards of cleanliness at all times, and to ensure health and safety standards are maintained.

Cleaning, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and mopping various rooms around the Clubhouse as assigned by supervisor. Polishing trophies as assigned by supervisor.

Constantly washing and wiping showers, sinks and bathtubs, scrubbing and sanitizing toilets/urinals, removing garbage, mopping floors, cleaning mirrors and windows and maintaining supply of toiletries and towels in all washrooms and Ladies' Locker Room.

Serves coffee, tea, water and cookies to bridge players. Abides by club policies, procedures, practices and all relevant legislation including health and safety and violence in the workplace. Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/References:


  • Flexibility with regards to hours of work required. May need to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • WHMIS trained an asset.
  • Neat appearance and must conform to department dress standards.
  • Background check.
