- Builds relationships with credit union members, including seeking out new members and opening new accounts, along with maintaining positive and productive relationships with existing members.
- Provides full-cycle account services including processing general banking transactions, identifying and processing deposit, investment and lending needs and resolving account issues.
- Proactively connects with members to identify needs as well as seek opportunities for additional and future business, and strengthen members' banking relationships with G&F.
- Collaborates with branches and other departments, and provides referrals to product specialists, to ensure a superior member experience and increase business across the credit union.
- Builds and maintains a professional network within the branch and local community and represents G&F as a positive community partner.
- 1-2 years experience in a sales and service-oriented role
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language is an asset
- Excellent customer service and strong relationship-building abilities
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
- Self-initiative in driving your career and personal development
- Degree or diploma in Business or Finance is preferred; general understanding of retail banking principles is an asset
