Position Overview


Telecom coordinator is also the system administrator for vocera, Nursecall, Connexall systems and is responsible for maintainenace of user database, device inventory, troubleshoot issues and coordinate the system upgrades.

The role required to provide support to switchboard department and to be on call during the absence of manager.

This position is also responsible for upholding the principles of patient focused care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient flow of information as well as providing technical support.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Telecommunications/Information systems. Telecommunications certificates an asset.
  • Knowledge of Vocera ,Nursecall and Connexall systems and mobile devices is an asset
Experience

  • 3 years of related technical experience with customer service and telecommunications focus (healthcare environment an asset).
  • Knowledge of Pbx systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access, Visio)
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning (i.e. degrees, workshops, seminars)
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Selfdirected; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast paced and diverse organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data
