Principal Associate, Tech Recruitment

As the Principal Recruiter at Capital One Canada, you play a pivotal role in end-to-end recruitment for specialized positions in Tech, leveraging your creativity and innovation to identify top talent.

Your responsibilities extend beyond recruitment, encompassing effective stakeholder management, where your experience ensures seamless collaboration with internal clients. Moreover, your proficiency in data fluency enhances decision-making throughout the recruiting and selection process.

By leading a team and engaging closely with internal clients, you contribute significantly to projects that elevate the overall recruiting experience, ultimately driving Capital One Canada's success through impactful hires.

Responsibilities

Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs
Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a full lifecycle recruiter in a corporate environment
3+ years of experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies
2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Google xray searches of X or GitHub
2+ years of experience creating and updating talent maps
Experience independently partnering with leadership on hiring initiatives
Ability to influence and drive results in a fastpaced environment
Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
