THE OPPORTUNITY
The Collaboration Technology Specialist is a key member of the Digital Workplace team, and is responsible for designing, engineering, and Tier 3 support of meeting room conferencing and communication technologies that support a mobile hybrid workforce.
The Specialist has excellent communication skills and builds relationships with business users, identifying requirements, developing new solutions, and assisting clients in running successful meetings.
This role goes beyond install only.
The Specialist has depth of experience configuring, managing, and deploying modern technologies such as the M365 suite, MS Teams telephony/audio conferencing, MS Teams Handsets, and MS Teams Room (MTR) hardware and associated peripherals such as cameras, microphones, speakers and screens.
The position has three career progression:
- Level 1: Responsible for the configuration and operations of meeting room and other communication technologies and contributes to projects with a low-to-mid level of complexity, typically acquired through 3+ years of experience. Works independently, applies technical concepts effectively, and has demonstrated working knowledge competency within the role.
- Level 2: Responsible for the configuration and operations of meeting room and other communication technologies and leads projects with a mid-to-high level of complexity and stakeholder engagement, typically acquired through 5+ years of experience. Works independently, applies technical concepts effectively, and has an experienced level of competency within the role.
- Level 3: Responsible for the configuration and operations of meeting room and other communication technologies and leads projects with a high level of complexity and stakeholder engagement, typically acquired through 8+ years of experience. Works independently, provides guidance and training to others, and has an advanced level of competency within the role.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As the Subject Matter Expert, the Specialist works closely with Platform Engineers and external service providers to recommend and deliver solutions, and provide senior level guidance and support to the Service Desk to ensure a seamless experience for end-users.
