About Us:

The Oakville Club is a prestigious club known for its exceptional facilities and commitment to providing exclusive experiences for our members.

We are currently seeking a Pickleball Professional to lead our pickleball programs and elevate the standard of play for our members.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Management: Oversee, coordinate, and promote pickleball by delivering exceptional programs and instructions to the highest standard. Develop a comprehensive range of programs catering to various ages and skill levels, including private lessons, group sessions, clinics, camps, and league play.

Member Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new members into pickleball, providing professional attention to their needs and fostering a welcoming environment.

Innovation and Engagement: Infuse new ideas and energy into existing programs to increase participation and excitement. Collaborate with other racquet professionals to maintain balanced and dynamic programming.

Communication and Service: Regularly communicate with members about schedules, events, closures, and achievements. Act as a staff representative on the Activities Committee, facilitating effective communication within programs and among members.

Continuous Improvement: Utilize feedback to enhance services, proactively resolve issues, and anticipate potential challenges through observation and communication.

Administration and Compliance: Administer club policies, enforce court etiquette, oversee marketing efforts, and assist the General Manager with administrative tasks as needed.


Health and Safety:

Compliance: Ensure the club complies with Ministry of Labour standards and promptly report any deficiencies to the General Manager.

Staff Support: Support department staff in maintaining a healthy and safe environment, including training in First Aid, CPR, Defibrillator, and WHIMIS.


Qualifications:

-
Experience: Previous experience as a Pickleball Professional or Senior Coach. Experience in competitive circuits is advantageous. Pickleball Certifications are required.

Skills: Proficient in club software systems, excellent written and oral communication, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.


Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, working flexible shifts, and being on feet for extended periods.
