Manager, Accounting (Terminals at our Saskatoon office. This position is temporary and expected to last for approximately 18 to 24 months.

The opportunity

Responsible for the supervision of direct reports, fosters and develops effective working relationships and high performance between team members.
Ensure terminal costs, internal policies and controls are reported in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Conduct accounting for terminals such as cash flow management, accounts payable, journal entries and monthly cost reporting.
Maintains and prepares the budgets and reporting variances throughout the year as needed.
Prepare yearend financial statements and supporting documentation for the external audit process.

You have

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum five to seven years' experience in a financial position
Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

You bring

Proven ability to maintain effective working relationships and high performance with staff, management, executives, shareholders and external auditors.
Strong and consistent communication skills to provide feedback, coaching, mentoring and motivation for employees.
Excellent leadership and the ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
