Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, billing, and payment processing.
- Assist with transaction entries for bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist with monthend and yearend financial closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records in accounting software.
- Assist with onboarding new clients.
- Assist with collecting open accounts.
- Assist with sales recruitment by providing timely and accurate information and paperwork to prospects, contacting prospects to walk them through payment processes, etc.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases.
- Provide support in auditing activities and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
- Provide general administrative support such as answering phones for the Accounting department, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence with clients.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining filing systems.
- Assist with office supply inventory management and ordering.
- Provide support to the CAO & Accounting Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 12 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a constitution to easily work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

From $42,000.00 per hour
