Description
We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable maintenance manager to lead our maintenance department.

As the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities.

Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.


Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:


  • Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintaining all machinery to ensure it's at working standards including IT.
  • Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities including IT.
  • Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Develop routine and preventative maintenance strategies to ensure that the entire facility is kept operational
  • Respond to staff and/or customer complaints and dispatch necessary personnel
  • Organize repair and renovation projects, create a budget, and oversee each project to completion
  • Act swiftly to resolve emergencies as they arise
  • Identify ways to conserve energy and reduce facility operating costs
  • Develop and nurture relationships with service providers, contractors, and distributors
  • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a hotel maintenance manager or maintenance supervisor of a large facility
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with the inner workings of a hotel (e.g. plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems)
  • Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)
  • Ability to identify safety risks and develop a plan of action quickly
  • Problemsolving aptitude, particularly under pressure
  • Excellent leadership and organizational
  • Detailoriented
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet
