Job Summary
The General Labourer is responsible for the housekeeping of Plant 1, Plant 2, Plant 3 (as required).

This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health & safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.

Part Time Student positions available.

Education and Experience

Experience working in a factory environment in a similar role will be considered an asset
Familiar with safe use and handling of cleaning equipment and supplies Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Capable of problemsolving
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Emptying garbage containers throughout the facility
Cleaning around machinery ex. sweeping up metal chips, etc.
Sustaining cleanliness of washrooms
Maintaining stock of supplies and replenishing supplies in washrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunch rooms, etc.
Sweeping, mopping, washing and vacuuming floors as required including spill cleanup, etc.
Washing windows, walls and ceilings as required
Running errands upon request of appropriate personnel as required
Sustaining outdoor maintenance such as snow removal, etc. as required
Positively contribute to a healthy corporate culture by building trust, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned
Must be 16+ year old and have reliable transportation or valid driver's license_
