Senior Energy Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a critical role in the design, development and implementation of energy management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy planning, waste management and radiometric determinations. You should be able to provide technical expertise for waste quantification, establishing nature and complexity of waste and reviewing/validating data. Additionally, you should be able to guide definition of technical requirements at program/project level ensuring correct implementation within scope/schedule/cost/risk.

About This Role:

• Provide technical proficiency for waste planning including sorting/segregation/packaging/transportation/minimization techniques;


• Drawing on high-level knowledge of radioactive waste management guidelines/practices/regulations providing informed decision-making support;


• Collaborate with colleagues/stakeholders implementing integrated waste strategy aligning industry best-practice/value-for-money/opportunities;

This position requires international assignment at Chalk River office located in Ontario Canada but does not require relocation with housing provided there may involve occasional travel back states
