About this opportunity


Cenovus's New Grad Program aims to attract, develop and retain exceptional new grads to build a top talent pipeline for the company.

The program provides new grads with a broad understanding of Cenovus's core business through challenging work assignments, training and development, field exposure and the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.

Upon completion of the three-year program, you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be dependent on business need and relocation may be required.

As a New Grad in Land, you will get exposure to a broad range of business units, asset teams, and senior leadership to encourage a fulsome learning environment and creation of your professional networks


Responsibilities:


Responsibilities will be dependent on the business unit of your rotation and will support initiatives for the Land function at Cenovus.

Key skills to be developed within the New Grad Land program may include:

  • Mapping
  • Land sale analysis
  • Title review/due diligence
  • Data input and verification
  • Agreement drafting
  • Third party road use requests
  • Freehold lease analysis
  • Contract management
Qualifications/Education- Legally entitled to work in Canada- Available to begin work June 2024- Must have an Undergraduate Commerce or Business Degree acquired by May 31, 2024, and completed within the last 2 years (2022, 2023 or Preference for Energy & Professional Land Management concentration or similar degree programs.- Interest in pursuing a career in oil and gas in land management.


New Grad Program Benefits:

Relocation:


If you will need to relocate for your first rotation/home location, support will be provided as per Cenovus' internal policies.
