About the role:

Under the supervision of the coordinator and with support from the Team Lead, The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact to assess and support clients on entry into employment search and career planning within the engagement period of the new Integrated Employment Service Model.

The Intake Specialist will work collaboratively with all other team members to communicate the next steps in the clients employment journey.

Education:
University Degree/College Diploma in the Social Sciences or related field.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with Employment Ontario Employment Services Programs

Experience working with information in a database and case management systems.

Experience with Guided Interviewing an asset

Preferred bilingual

French and English

Strong computer proficiency (including Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, and database management)

Experience working with clients facing various barriers to employment.
