Job Overview
The General Manager plays a crucial role as the top leader in the restaurant, responsible for fostering the necessary skills to achieve success. This upscale dining establishment demands a refined approach, and the General Manager embodies this vision. They oversee all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring key financial and performance targets are met, such as sales, guest experience, and employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Financial & Restaurant Profitability
Review and align with business objectives set by Regional Management
Suggest operational enhancements to boost sales and cut costs
Identify opportunities for improved profitability
Maintain margins as per plan and ensure accurate inventory

Food & Restaurant Safety
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Implement and monitor food safety and pest control programs
Conduct restaurant quality checks and manage cleanliness
Request equipment repairs and maintenance as needed

Guest Experience

Prepare and serve menu items to maintain quality standards
Assess restaurant based on brand standards
Coach staff for continuous improvement
Address guest concerns promptly

Employee Engagement & Development

Train and develop staff to foster a positive work culture
Recruit and retain top talent
Ensure compliance with HR policies
Promptly address employee concerns

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality
High school diploma or equivalent
Food Safety and Responsible Alcohol Service certifications required

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in English
Strong leadership abilities
Track record of driving sales and operational efficiency
Experience in hiring, coaching, and training
Effective conflict resolution skills
