Course description:
An intermediate acting course, including including movement and voice techniques for the stage.

Students concentrate on scene study, styles of acting, and the development of ensemble work with an intensive focus on voice and movement practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Extensive experience teaching acting/performance, including elements of voice and movement at a recognized theatre school or university; extensive professional acting/theatre experience (minimum 5 years).


Preferred Qualifications:
MFA in Acting/ Performance/Directing. Diploma in voice/movement training from an accredited insitution.


Description of Duties:

This position will form part of a teaching team, instructing two sections of DRM300Y Performance II in the Winter term.

The syllabus therefore will need to be submitted in September.


Duties include:

preparing course syllabus, planning and delivering lectures, designing assignments, tests and examinations, grading, managing course content and grades on Quercus & CIS, holding office hours, invigilating tests and exams (if applicable), and supervising a teaching assistant (if applicable).
