    Description
    Primary Job Duties:
    • Review, and price site instructions and work orders as needed.
    • Communicate with partners and team members about new and ongoing projects.
    • Ensure timely completion of estimates for Site Instructions.
    • Prepare and send out quotations for Site Instructions including follow-up.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
    • Prepare work for estimation by collecting proposals, blueprints, specifications, and documents.
    • Assist estimators in determining labor, material, and time requirements by examining proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
    • Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time needs for Site Instructions and Extras.
    • Address discrepancies through data collection and analysis.
    • Review scope of work criteria by interpreting contracts.
    • Coordinate among Foreman, Estimators, and Project Managers to guarantee all Extras have submitted purchase orders.
    • Generate reports for Project Manager on outstanding purchase orders and incomplete Extras.
    • Prepare specialized reports by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing information and patterns.
    • Maintain a cost database by inputting material and labor data as necessary in software programs.
    • Retain technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
    • Attend on-site locations for safety meetings, construction management meetings, and to support foremen with inquiries about site instructions.
    Requirements:
    • 3+ years' experience in high-rise construction
    • Able to interpret architectural plans and create cost estimates
    • Solid understanding of residential construction processes
    • Proficiency with Plexxis, MS Word, Excel
    • Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
