Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with clients and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruitment best practises including interview techniques, proper documentation, and other assessment tools as required. Manage interactions with external vendor when needed.
  • Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned
  • Represent YP for recruiting purposes at identified networking and industry events, job fairs, conferences, etc.
  • Develop a broad professional network of top technology talent

What do you need to be a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Yellow Pages?

  • Qualifications_:
  • A high school diploma, with a minimum of 24 years experience in the field of recruitment or administrative role in a corporate environment, or an equivalent in education/experience.
  • Previous experience dealing with high volumes of recruitment including mass recruits and sales recruitment
  • Proven knowledge of innovative sourcing techniques including in depth knowledge of Social Media
  • Fluently bilingual (English & French)
  • Skills_:
  • Enthusiastic and motivated selfstarter who is not afraid to ask questions and has a natural focus on making things happen
  • Works well with a variety of working styles and personalities; friendly, outgoing manner
  • A strong business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structure
  • Experience in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm
  • Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
  • Proven experience engaging highpotential prospects through targeted sourcing and cold calling
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively across multiple departments and levels, and with little direction or supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches and projects; excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • An inquisitive Recruiter who enjoys learning about diverse client needs and working with a collaborative and consultative approach
