    Purpose of the Role:


    As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems and components within a commercial-scale carbon capture plant. You will be the single point of contact representing the mechanical discipline during different project stages. Your role is pivotal in developing deliverables, providing technical assurance, and ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:


    Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    Experience: Minimum years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design and development. Experience in specifying static and rotating mechanical equipment, low-pressure ducting, compressors, steam generation unit, and heat exchangers.

    Skills: Track record of leading complex mechanical engineering projects, project design practices, risk assessment, understanding P&IDs, PFDs, ISO's, pressure vessels, and fired equipment design.

    What Success looks like in this role:


    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components into system deliverables. Review and provide technical assurance on mechanical engineering deliverables. Evaluate materials and equipment manufacturers for cost optimization. Generate technical documentation and participate in design reviews and project planning meetings.
