Research Associate, Evaluative Clinical Sciences, Sunnybrook Research Institute**(Temporary Full-Time, 1 year term with the possibility of renewal for up to 5 years total)


Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is seeking a Temporary Full-time Research Associate for the DAN Women and Babies program, Evaluative Clinical Sciences Platform at SRI.

The Research Associate will report to Dr.

Nir Melamed and involves clinical research, including involvement with several concurrent clinical research studies, in the field of high-risk obstetrics.

The position is located at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Data analysis including linking/merging local database, basic statistical analysis
  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Preparing manuscripts and reviews for publication

Skills and Qualifications:

  • MD or PhD degree
  • Experience in working with datasets and data analysis is required
  • Demonstrated research capabilities and history of managing research projects
  • Proven experience writing manuscripts, reviews, grants, and protocols
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, detailoriented individual with leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in health research preferred
