ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide administrative support for the Pharmaceutical Services Department and the Branches for all Bayshore contracted pharmaceutical products and services.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • To accept all incoming referrals for pharmaceutical programs and check them for completeness and accuracy of information
  • To enter information from the referral into CRM and forward to the appropriate branch assigned intake coordinator
  • To followup with the branch to ensure that the nursing visit is scheduled within the agreed upon time limit
  • To provide information back to pharmaceutical referral contact regarding date of scheduled visit
  • To receive postvisit reports and timeslips from field nurses and forward them on to pharmaceutical referral contact, the appropriate branch and others as requested
  • To track specific data and information for pharmaceutical companies as requested
  • To provide other ongoing administrative help and support to all staff in the Pharmaceutical Services Department as needed
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Complete other tasks as requested
  • Employee will maintain relevant level of knowledge of ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and Health Canada GVP (Good Pharmocovigilance Practices) guidelines appropriate to their hired role which is to be provided at time of hire and annually. With this knowledge the employee will perform the work as required by their assigned function and will be provided with regular updates as required.
Job Qualification


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Education
Minimum - Secondary School Diploma.

Experience
At least two years of recent experience in customer service related role

Other Skills and Abilities

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to meet deadlines; demonstrated track record of achievement in dealing with suppliers and staff; in depth knowledge of multi-branch operations; strong commitment to continual learning.

Minimum 30 w.p.m. typing speed required.
