We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional to join our Indigo team as Supervisor, Parking Services at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport.

This position will oversee parking operations (valet, parking booth and shuttle services).

The main accountabilities for this position include supervising and co-ordinating onsite staff to ensure organizational goals, standards and procedures are adhered to.

Providing and improving service quality as well as training and mentoring employees, employee recruitment, training and retention.

What Would You Be Doing?

  • Responsible and accountable for the operational performance of all services, to ensure they match and/or exceed targets.
  • Continuously identify and implement operational best practices
  • Adjust and monitoring scheduling based on demand requirements to ensure efficient operational staffing levels
  • Ensure delivery of client obligations and promises including day to day service levels, customer experience and quality measures
  • Oversee customer relations management to ensure expectations are being met and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee and ensure that all cash and audit procedures are being followed
  • Prepare daily revenue reports, analyze and investigate any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Responsible for assisting with recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring and retention of staff
  • Communicate and engage employees to ensure they understand company and client expectations on customer service, problem resolution processes and products and services offered
  • Manage labour costs based on business demands to ensure targets are achieved
  • Other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by management

What are the Working Conditions?

  • An airport environment is a 24/7/365 operation with constantly changing demands and challenges
  • May be required to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Administrative and computer work required

What Are We Looking For?

  • One two years experience in a Supervisory/team lead capacity
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, and Internet Explorer or Chrome
  • Competent with social media and a multiline telephone
  • Previous customer care, tourism, hospitality and/or food & beverage experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on compassion, articulate conversation, and sincerity
  • Highly responsible & reliable, with a professional groomed appearance
  • Ability to balance workload with busy and slow times
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and all airport screening processes
  • Valid Class 5 MB drivers license and clean abstract (class 4 license is an asset)
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
