We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to take on the role of part-time cleaner, for one of our locations in Downtown Halifax.

YOUR SCHEDULE:

The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 6 AM to 9 AM Monday through Friday, with a paid break bonus.

Occasional additional hours may be available as operations dictate.

YOUR SKILLS:

You enjoy interacting with the public and clients in a professional, empathetic and courteous manner.

You can work indoors and outdoors when required.

You can use basic cleaning tools, and cleaning equipment.

You are comfortable operating a pressure-washer.

You enjoy doing something different every day - at Indigo, no two days are the same

You have great verbal communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the part-time cleaner, you play a crucial role in our daily operations team.

You arrive at the location before the public, and ensure all lobbies, driveways, parking stalls, and stairwells are clean and presentable.

You conduct daily litter pick up, empty refuse containers, conduct dry sweeps and wet mops, wipe down touch points, and other cleaning duties as assigned.

On a semi-regular basis, you operate specialized cleaning equipment, including a pressure-washer, to deep clean areas within the facility.

We provide free uniforms, paid training, and paid breaks.

Employment is conditional on successfully passing a criminal record check.

*$250 signing bonus is paid out as $250 after the sixth month, conditional on a good attendance record.
