Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.
Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

About you / qualifications:
- Post secondary education in a relevant field
- 5+ years of legal operations or office management experience in a professional setting
- People leadership experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience working with database and project tracking software
- Project management skills
About the day-to-day:
- Partner with the Chief Legal Officer to coordinate legal activities and information to prioritize resources, address service demands, and manage legal risk
- Collaborate with legal operations, internal stakeholders, IT support and department leadership to design and implement a legal process improvement roadmap
- Identify, collect, and analyze data related to legal team workload, efficiency, matter outcomes, hidden risks and developing trends, and identify recommendations opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Champion change management and communication within the department and across the organization
- Oversee the daily operations of the legal services team, inspiring excellence in risk management and service delivery
- Triage internal requests for legal support, assigning tasks as needed, managing tasks through to completion, and tracking performance metrics
- Collaborate with employees across the organization to answer questions and provide guidance on a variety of operational issues
- Design and continuously monitor the Company's contract management process
- Take a strategic approach to legal operations, identifying opportunities to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency and developing and implementing plans to achieve these goals.
- Understand the Company's business, its core values, its people, products, services, industry and regulatory requirements in order to assist the business in meeting its overall objectives
- Support integration of department technology tools with one another and with the organization's enterprise tools
