Production Machine Operator
Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. was founded in 1993 to provide Food service Customers with a fresh alternative.

An outstanding supply network, efficient distribution, and our thoroughly modern processing plant are all part of our commitment to provide the freshest fruits and vegetables possible.

Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a full-time Machine Operator who is eager to work in a fast paced team-oriented work environment in our Richmond, BC location.

Shift 1:00 PM 9:30 PM
Hours of Operation: Monday
Friday, Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
Employment Type: Full Time
Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurate completion of documentation when required
Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
Set up and operate machines slicers, dicers, peelers
Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing and drying of products.
Able to identify and retrieve products for processing
Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience in food processing facility
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
