Description

As a Property Maintenance Custodian at Trans-Ontario Express, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our warehouse, mechanic shop, fleet vehicles, and surrounding premises.

Your duties will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization to support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and mechanic shop through sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal, as well as sanitizing restrooms and emptying trash receptacles.
Perform handson maintenance tasks which includes seasonal planting, lawn care, and property upkeep activities.
Execute light equipment operations such as weed trimming, leaf blowing, and use of small hand tools for maintenance purposes.
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and promptly report any issues.
Maintain yearround cleanliness and tidiness of the property, including snow removal and salting during winter, and keep basement areas clean and wellmaintained.
Perform thorough snow removal and salting to maintain safe premises and assist in vehicle cleaning to meet quality standards.
Assist with restroom cleaning as required.
Maintain a tidy workspace, regularly cleaning and managing garbage disposal,
Fleet Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and maintain fleet vehicles or trailers to ensure optimal operational conditions, including interior and exterior cleaning.

Requirements:

High School Diploma.
Adherence to professional and safe work practices, with familiarity with general maintenance practices preferred.
Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions, with knowledge of grass care and gardening tools preferred.

Salary:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
