    Our client is Canada's leading diversified wealth and asset management company looking for Manager -lease Transaction candidate to join their office in Downtown Toronto.

    Reporting to the Sr.

    Manager of Real Estate Transactions & Lease Administration, the Manager of Lease Transactions will be responsible for executing transaction management activities for commercial buildings in a multi-city portfolio.


    In this role, the Manager of Lease Transactions will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including external strategic partners, in a consistent, coordinated response to ensure clear processes and seamless execution.

    The manager is responsible for delivering timely analysis and critical dates to align real estate with the stated business goals in each key market.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Transaction Management
    • Negotiation of legal and business terms in real estate documents (i.e., lease proposals, binding offers to lease, renewals, and leases)
    • Preparation of ancillary and closing documents
    • Executive PowerPoint slide preparation
    • Prepare correspondence (e.g. termination notices, vacate letters, approval emails)
    • Tracking and coordinating site selection and milestone dates
    • Coordination of building tours, including taking tour notes
    • Quarterly reporting for Risk Management CEO CFO testing
    • Document uploading into DMT system
    • Processing leasing invoices
    • Provide ongoing support and back-up to the Senior Manager, Real Estate Transactions & Lease Administration
    • Help grow a best-in-class transaction management operation

    Qualifications


    • 7+ years of industry experience in real estate leasing and transaction management
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of real estate transaction process and negotiations, fee structures and best practices in real estate transactions
    • Technology proficiency – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
