Description

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer preferences and specifications
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in the cutting area, following food safety regulations and guidelines
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing meat products to maintain freshness and quality
Operate and maintain butcher equipment and machinery, such as saws, grinders, and slicers, ensuring they are in proper working condition
Provide exceptional customer service by offering advice on meat selection, cooking methods, and recipes
Collaborate with team members to optimize production and maintain an organized and efficient workflow
Keep accurate records of inventory, sales, and production data as required

Requirements:

Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role is essential
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and butchery equipment
Demonstrated expertise in cutting and trimming various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistent portioning and presentation of products
Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of meat products
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers
Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Salary:
$16.00-$26.26 per hour PAY IS COMPETITIVE

Job Details:

Benefits schedule is based on your employer account balance
COVID 19 Vaccination required for all new employees, requires valid Vaccination.

Shift:
Monday - Friday Schedule. 8 hour shift. No weekends or nights.

Experience:

Minimum of 30 hours at but can be higher if requested by management.

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
