Responsibilities:


Provides technical design services to the Planners, Architects and Project Managers to support the development of transportation facilities functional and conceptual plans.

Produces CAD documentation from hardcopy drawings and produces 3D models from 2D CAD or hardcopy drawings.

Performs skilled drafting assignments.

Prepares various electronic and hand drawn plans.

Produces documentation to illustrate design concepts.


Qualifications:


Requires Grade 12 plus a diploma in Architecture and Building Engineering Technology, including training in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.


Requires two and a half ( 2 1/2) years previous experience in architectural and building design working with CAD software.

A further period of up to six (6) months on the job to become familiar with TransLink's organization, policies and procedures.

Recruitment Process:

An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.

A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.


Work Schedule:

37.5 hours per week.


Work Designation:

Remote

This positions offers the ability to work predominately in a remote capacity within B.C. The business will request onsite presence at times for operational reasons.


Rate of Pay:

Salary $5,586 - $6,707 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
