Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, the Manager, Digital Strategy, oversees the social media strategy for the Beedie School of Business.

In collaboration with a variety of internal groups and key stakeholders, plans, develops and implements Beedie digital marketing and communications strategies.

The incumbent implements Beedie's digital content strategy and manages Beedie's digital channels.

Working collaboratively with the Director, Marketing and Communications, participates in strategic community engagement planning to:

identify opportunities and expand the reach of digital community engagement and outreach; play a key role in the creation, evaluation, recognition and measurement of community engagement and outreach; provide general oversight for, and represent Beedie's digital community engagement platforms; expand and increase community-Beedie School partnerships and collaboration agreements; and strengthen community engagement.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant discipline, with four years of related experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications, and web design, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in marketing, communications and/or graphics.


  • Excellent knowledge and ability to create, lead and implement strategic digital marketing and communications plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent knowledge of current online marketing concepts, promotional strategies and best practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of web metrics and digital analytics.
  • Excellent project coordination and financial management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, conflict resolution, and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to consult, advise, and support clients at all levels of management.
  • Excellent analytical reasoning, problemsolving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to exercise mature judgment, diplomacy and discretion, and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and manage effective and innovative digital/social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web development.
  • Proficient in the use of content management, information management, and learning management systems.
