    At McKesson Canada, you'll help us carry out our mission to improve lives and advance healthcare. The Senior Data Scientist plays a lead role in fostering a data-driven culture. Data Scientist to join our BDSA team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing statistical models, and providing valuable insights to drive data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, design experiments, and develop innovative solutions using advanced analytics techniques and machine learning algorithms. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, ensuring delivery excellence.
    Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that can improve business performance and decision-making.
    Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex business challenges.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
    Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
    Apply advanced statistical techniques and data mining algorithms to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
    Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing systems.
    Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including non-technical audience, through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
    Stay updated on advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics.
    Strong focus on delivery and Agile methodologies, leading projects from conception to implementation.
    Serve as the primary resource for McKesson Canada Business Data Science inquiries.
    7 + years of hands-on work experience developing and applying advanced analytics solutions in a corporate or consulting settings.
    Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's or PhD is preferred.
    Proven track record as a Data Scientist, delivering data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
    Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying AI/Machine Learning solutions at scale.
    Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
    Proficient in many of the following applied analytical techniques - clustering, regression analysis, time series analysis, NLP, neural networks, KNN, association rules, decision trees, logistic regression or similar.
    Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Snowflake, Oracle), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) , and Excel modelling and VBA.
    Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
    Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is a strong asset.
    Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

Analyser des jeux de données larges et complexes pour discerner des motifs et des tendances et tirer des conclusions permettant d'améliorer le rendement de l'organisation et le processus décisionnel.
    Développer des modèles prédictifs, des algorithmes d'apprentissage automatique et des modèles statistiques pour résoudre des enjeux commerciaux complexes.
    Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour comprendre les besoins organisationnels et élaborer des solutions fondées sur les données.
    Appliquer des techniques statistiques évoluées et des algorithmes d'exploration de données pour extraire des conclusions exploitables à partir de données structurées et non structurées.
