The Financial Planning team is responsible for overseeing and preparing quality, accurate, and timely financial information.

Additionally, interfacing with Senior Executive Team and Managers in providing financial analysis and technical reports with a support to take timely and effective decisions.

About the role


As Finance Analyst, you will provide senior level of specialised expertise in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting and advisory services to the organization.

You will work with the Manager, Community Financial Planning and Analysis in overseeing and preparing quality, accurate, and timely financial information.

You will interface with Senior Executive Team and Managers in providing financial analysis and technical reports with a support to take timely and effective decisions.


About you

  • To be successful in this role you will have: _
  • Successful completion of a degree with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, or commerce plus at least 3 years of related progressive experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Enrolment or completion of a recognized accounting designation (CPA) is preferred
  • Recent experience performing budget analysis and/or audits (Recent defined as within the last 4 years, and significant usually defined as at least 3 years of experience.)
  • Recent and significant experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective organization and planning including identification of output requirements (i.e. reports, presentations), research, identification and sourcing of relevant information in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met
  • Sound analytical and evaluation skills that can be applied in the review of internal and external sourced financial information, reports and data
