As a Parts Assistant, a typical day may include the following:

• Assisting customers with parts inquiries, in person, on the phone and electronically
• Filling orders for technicians in our Service Department
• Placing orders in a timely fashion
• Maintaining proper inventory levels of all incoming and outgoing parts
• Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock
• Handling payments
• Coordinating packaging and shipping of parts
• Providing excellent customer service
• Promoting parts sales through communicating information to guests
• Lifting and moving parts tires, small and large boxes, etc.

This job may be right for you if you have:

• Automotive parts technical knowledge (preferred)
• Previous General Motors experience is an asset
• Honest and professional, a strong team player
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Previous inventory management systems experience is an asset

Salary negotiable based on experience

From $17.50 per hour
