Position Summary:

Position Responsibilities:

Process and Audit Drivers Pay
Perform daily payroll department functions
Manage workflow to ensure all Brokers payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Reconcile payroll prior to submission to Payroll department
Meet weekly Payroll deadlines
Verify drivers' hours, miles and freight weight
Verify all details on BOL's and P.O. D's accordingly to the manifest and maintain all OSD information
Verify all driver paperwork (deliveries, pickups, and extra charges)
Collect all C.O.D's
Deal with drivers' discrepancies and ensure proper measures are followed

Position Qualifications:

Payroll experience in a trucking environment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Ability to work in a highvolume environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department, policies, rules, functions, procedures, or processes.
Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
