Overview of Position
Greyspring is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join the Finance team.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for various accounting and clerical tasks and support projects in the Finance department and will have the following responsibilities:


  • Provide support through various accounting and clerical tasks.
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
  • Maintain general ledger and perform daily bank reconciliation duties.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for financial statements.
  • Enter daily key financial transactions data in database.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records accurately.
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Compile reports/summaries on activity areas and inform management.
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Assist on internal and external audit project.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience with accounts payable or related field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
  • Yardi software experience.
  • Experience tracking expense.
  • Accounting knowledge and ability to understand chart of accounts.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Data entry and general math skills.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and a selfstarter working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to analyze information and develop vendor relationships.
