We are currently hiring for the position of:

COORDINATOR, INDUSTRY SERVICES


Reporting to the Manager, Industry Services, the Coordinator will oversee the administrative process related to the Industry accreditation portfolio as well as the stewardship of the Industry audience.

They will deliver the highest level of customer service while working closely with the sales and services team to ensure all attending industries are adequately prepared for the festival experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process and troubleshoot industry registration requests in an efficient and accurate manner Process and troubleshoot payments including credit card transactions, invoices, wire transfers, refunds, and group payments Lead the creation of Industry publications including the Rights List Generate content and and lead the distribution process for all direct emarketing and promotional plans for industry accreditation sales leading up to and during the festival. Verify Buyers for accreditation (acquisitions and distribution executives) Conduct outreach to industry partners, guilds, colleges, universities Lead implementation of set up and maintenance of industry online Delegate Resources in collaboration with internal production teams. Coordinate crossdepartmental complimentary pass requests to fulfill partner, funder, and pass exchange requirements. Conduct weekly Financial Reconciliation as needed Assist in the hiring and onboarding of junior services staff, providing support with database and accreditation process training. Liaise with Industry Box Office staff Support Manager, Industry Services, with Pronto pass administration as required. Write a detailed post mortem


JOB GRADE & SALARY:

Job Grade 2 $2224 per hour commensurate with experience.

WORK LOCATION:

Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 Weekly inoffice requirements:
  • Minimum 2 days (November to May)
Minimum 3 days (June to October) Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Postsecondary degree/diploma (in Film, Media or related arts considered an asset) Minimum 1 year experience in an office environment Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail Precise memory for names, positions, companies and situations Mature personal judgment, exhibiting a high level of professionalism and diplomacy Able to handle difficult situations and people with tact and professionalism Excellent phone manner, communication fluency and interpersonal strengths Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Google Suite, and relational databases (experience with Artifax considered an asset) Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Desire and ability to take initiative and coordinate projects Ability to work and respond well in fastpaced and high pressure environments with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Fluency in a second language considered an asset Previous festival or event planning experience considered an asset
