The skills we are looking for:
Ability to follow shop drawings, written instructions & verbal direction to assemble Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) in accordance with industry standards.
Bonus assets include experience or willingness in testing and troubleshooting HPUs.- Contribute to and exceed BFP's ability to meet scheduled ship date
- Safely carry out all duties assigned to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
- Asset skills include welding, fabricating, and use of overhead crane
- Advise foreman or supervisor of any concerns or issues pertaining to any particular HPU or assembly which may adversely affect performance
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and a positive work environment
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must take responsibility in their work to contribute to and exceed BFP product reputation.
Requirements:
- Understanding of hydraulic working principles
- Understanding engineering drawings including schematics and assemblies
- Experience with routing hydraulic oil lines respecting industry standards
- Possess basic welding and fabricating skills
Bonus skills (willing to train):
- Knowledge & experience of hydraulics system testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to bend tube & thread pipe for custom routing
Basic Qualifications:
- Relevant college diploma or equivalent in experience
- Clean record for a successful background check
- Excellent communications skills
- Forklift Certification preferred
- 23 years minimum of relevant industry experience
