    As a Data Engineer, you will be working at the data platform team and contribute to enterprise-wide best practices, processes, and platforms for BDC's strategy.

    The bulk of the work will be in data exploration, data transformation, data preparation, designing, building, and developing pipelines to sustain the development of AI models and their operationalization.

    You will work on the frameworks and libraries that the data platform team creates and maintains to progress from data to value.

    Participating with data analysts to map data fields to answer business needs
    # Curating, wrangling, and preparing data for use in AAAI models
    # Collaborating with Data Governance Office and participating in data governance practices (data lifecycle management, data quality management, data cataloging, and metadata management)
    # Designing, coding, unit testing, and integrating new features and functionality to BDC's data engineering libraries
    # Developing clean and maintainable code with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices to prevent integration problems and ensure the code is releasable at any point in time
    # Creating and maintaining datasets on Azure Data Lake (ADLS) utilizing Azure Databricks
    # Developing data transformation and preparation with Python and Apache Spark
    # Contributing to designing and building the pipelines required for optimal data transformation and AI models operationalization using Databricks
    # Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, performance, and availability
    # Participating in scrum meetings and updating stories on Azure DevOps
    # A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
    ~3+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer
    ~3+ years of experience with Python programming language
    ~1+ year of experience with data preparation for AI models
    ~ Experience with machine learning in Databricks
    ~ Experience with the Azure DevOps pipelines
    ~ Experience with Agile processes
    ~ Bilingual (French & English)
