Volunteer Lead

Overall Purpose:

Power To Be is a non-profit organization that creates access to nature for youth, families, and adults living with cognitive, physical, financial, and social barriers.

We support the discovery of limitless abilities through nature-based programs.

We recently opened a purpose-built, lake-front facility, designed with intention and holding at the center our values of inclusion, the environment, and community.

Working with Power To Be is an opportunity to be part of impactful and lasting societal change.

As a member of our People and Culture team, the Volunteer Lead strategically leads our volunteer program in Victoria and Vancouver, with a focus on connecting people with meaningful roles that support Power To Be in achieving its mission.

The Volunteer Lead will grow and foster volunteer involvement throughout the organization while building community and expanding our network.

Our Volunteer Lead takes the lead over the volunteer experience and collaborates with staff to ensure placements are both effective, meaningful and impactful.
