We are now searching for a qualified and resourceful Human Resources Coordinator to support our department.

The Human Resources Coordinator will have both Administrative and HR Operational responsibilities. They will support key functions of the department such as staffing, training and development, payroll processing, and benefits administration.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Group benefits administration.
  • Payroll processing (Dayforce by Ceridian).
  • ROE generation.
  • Coordinating the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) in partnership with the Director of People and Culture.
  • Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Supporting employee onboarding and helping to organize training & development initiatives.
  • Providing support to employees with various HRrelated topics such as leaves and policies.
  • Helping to promote HR programs and initiatives.
  • Assisting in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Performing HR administrative functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
  • Special Projects as assigned by the Director of People & Culture and Executives.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:


  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 year experience as an HR Coordinator.

Must have payroll processing experience.

  • JHSC experience an asset.
  • Strong understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of employment/labor laws.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • HRIS systems experience (e.g. Dayforce, ADP, etc) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude in problemsolving.
  • A desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
  • CHRP or SHRM-CP designation an asset.

From $55,000.00 per year
