- General administration of confidential and highly sensitive information
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process
- Support the Learning & Development function with administrative tasks
- Support meetings, including organization and preparation
- Perform activities and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system
- Respond to emails and draft correspondence include offers of employment, personnel letters, government forms, etc.
- Assist in the assignment OJT and Co-op school placements
- Respond to employment questions from potential applicants and the general public.
- Actively participate in the Company's employment equity goals
- Assist in the coordination of various employee events and fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with payroll and benefit processes
- Professional, ethical, works with total discretion and maintains confidentiality

- Successful completion of a program of post-secondary study in field of HR Management or Business Administration is an asset, or, the desire to pursue post-secondary education in these fields.
- Minimum 2 years employment experience in an administrative capacity in a sensitive, confidential work environment is an asset.
- Desire to be involved in the Learning and Development function and tasks
- Experience in a fast pace business support environment.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and various tasks at any given time.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to act with professional integrity at all times
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines and be self-motivated.
- There are no physical demands on the incumbent however extended periods of time will be spent at a computer.
- The individual will be working in a customer orientated environment and therefore must be a patient individual capable of maintaining focus while interruptions are ongoing.
- Working environment is in an area that is well ventilated and air-conditioned. Overtime may be required from time to time.
